Creamed Beef with Rice

Reviewed on Aug. 9, 2008 by Hollee
I tried this one with regular rice, and I cut out the peppers, because my husband doesn't like them. We loved it!! The only thing I would suggest is to up the corn starch as you go, it was kinda runny at 1st, so I added slowly and it thickened right up. But we like our cream beef to be thick, so I guess its up to your preferance!!

Whole Wheat High Fiber Bread

I usually don't ignore other ratings...mistake #1. It sounded good enough but totally lacked body, flavor and everything else...sorry..

Pizzelles II

Reviewed on Jun. 2, 2008 by mfmenchi
This is the exact recipe my familt uses when we make pizzelles. We like soft pizzelles and this recipe allows them to stay softer rather than crunchy. My grandmother was the only one who knew how to keep them crunchy because that is her preference. I use melted butter, and a full bottle of anise along with a tsp of anise oil. It sounds like too much, but after they are cooked you will notice how much more flavor they have.
