Blue Cheese and Pear Tartlets

Reviewed on Oct. 10, 2008 by Lynne
Little Tast of Heaven! People concerned with the balance of blue cheese vs. pear should just taste before filling shells and adapt accordingly.

Salmon and Pesto with Rice

Reviewed on Oct. 2, 2008 by Valerie's Kitchen
I love this method for cooking salmon! I did feel though taht it was lacking a little flavor. I think the rice is just a bit bland and maybe could use a little something. I subbed chicken broth for the fish broth and also sprinkled a little parmesan on top when almost finished cooking as another reviewer suggested. I also recommend skinning the salmon. It was good but not great. Maybe next time I'll try rice with a seasoning packet in place of the plain white rice.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed on Sep. 30, 2008 by Valerie's Kitchen
This recipe worked perfectly for me in my bread machine with the exact measurements listed. I was a little concerned since when you do it by hand you can gauge the amounts but I just tossed it all in and they came out just right. I used melted butter instead of the egg wash to add just a little richness and beautiful shine to the rolls. We loved them!
